Let’s set the stage….

,,,you filed a claim for PTSD.  Your stressor event did NOT occur in combat.  Therefore, you have to corroborate the stressor event.

We’ve talked about this before on the blog, and its not new information.  In fact, it seems pretty simple, right?

Well, a recent Court case looked at a unique fact scenario, and ended up showing that Veterans seeking to corroborate a non-combat  PTSD Stressor event need to corroborate TWO things:

1) That the stressor event occurred, and

2) that the stressor event happened – to YOU.
