I just wanted to share a link to a foundation that does great work for some of our Vets that sacrifice the most, the  Navy Seal Foundation.

While the Navy Seals are most famous for their recent mission to rid the world of UBL, these highly-trained, highly dedicated military operators are operating in conflict zones all around the world on any given day.  In fact, while you are reading this, there is  a high likelihood that a Navy Seal is being shot at somewhere in the world.

In August 2011, months after their success in taking out UBL, a helicopter crash killed 31 Special Forces operators, many of them Navy Seals.

Just a few days ago, two former Navy Seals were killed in Libya trying to protect our ambassador there.  Both left behind families.

Most of these operators have  left behind wives, children, and families.  Often times, Navy Seals are injured or die and there is no way for them to publicly seek help due to the nature of their mission.

Take a minute, and check out the Navy Seal Foundation.  While the Attig Law Firm does not officially endorse any charity, and strongly encourages that you investigate any Veteran or Soldier’s Foundation or not-for-profit before donating, the Navy Seal Foundation receives consistently high marks for financial accountability and for contributing 95 cents on every donated dollar to their mission of supporting Navy Seals.

From what I’ve seen in various places, they appear to be as transparent as not-for-profits can be in disclosing where and how donated funds are used.

Take a minute and check out the Navy Seal Foundation, and consider whether you are able to support those who served and their families.

WARNING:  Some sheister out in Arizona is reportedly hijacking the name of this fantastic charitable organization and using it for his own benefit. Read more here from the guys at SOFREP.com (Special Operations Force Report)
