Today’s post will not be long.
I don’t need to add my words to show you exactly how big is the “Perception Gap”: the gap between what the VA THINKS it provides, and what it ACTUALLY provides (or doesn’t provide) to Veterans.
Here’s what the VA THINKS it is doing – delivering “Wired-In” service to Veterans.
In this post, the VHA Public Affairs Team talks about its most recent “award” for being the “Most Wired” health care system.
Contrast that with what VETERANS Actually Experience at the VA.
Watch this WHOLE Video – see how often Veterans are put on hold, and how LITTLE operators know about the types of services that the VA supposedly offers.
In the end…this “Most Wired” health care system simply hangs up on a Veteran who is dying…..while waiting on the palliative care he was promised that has yet to be delivered.
Will you please share this post wide and far – help others see that the VA Public Affairs presents a very different image of what they do – particularly when compared to what they ACTUALLY do.
